While Windows has always been known for maximum hardware support, unfortunately, with the release of Windows 11 things are going to get vastly limited as far as hardware support goes.
While there is no dearth of compatible CPUs for Windows 11, there’s an endless list of processors that Windows 11 doesn’t support. Even systems capable of flawlessly running high-end games aren’t eligible for Windows 11 due to the limited hardware support.”
“We have prepared a massive list of processors (CPUs) from Intel and AMD that Windows 11 will NOT support. You can cross-check the processor on your computer with this list to know if it is compatible with Windows 11 or not.
Tip: To check if your processor is on the list, we suggest you use the CTRL + F keyboard shortcut to open the Find box in your browser.”

“It’s unfortunate to see that Microsoft is dropping support for so many capable machines out there. And given the fact that Windows 11 is indeed a major and much-needed update for the platform, it’s all the more awful for users who wouldn’t be able to update to the future of Windows.
However, we do believe there are going to be workarounds and unofficial ways to run Windows 11 on older hardware, all thanks to the massive community of Windows users. Let’s see how it turns out when Microsoft will release Windows 11 later this year.”
