“I´m sorry ASUS… but you´re fired!”
“They are all hiding it behind the freedom of information act (foia)”
“They don´t want you to know what is going on.”
“Over the last three or four generations, it has been a steady decline, in not only
quality, but backing their products.. experiences for the general consumer and
even our own personal experiences with us getting bad hardware and then
terrible support in handling that bad Hardware…right now
Asus has thrown itself off a cliff, it’s thrown itself off a cliff…”
“It takes seven boards to get a good one from Asus, let me explain…”
“AMD is really asused, enough is enough. I don´t have any confidence in this Brand, I don´t have any confidence in Asus whatsoever. I think they make beautiful products, I think the hardware design is absolutely gorgeous, even their box presentation.”
“They were like: “We´re so sorry somehow that particular board was an Army return.”
“The X670e Crosshair hero which is one of the boards that has been identified as
blowing up the 7800 x3d CPUs…”
“My voltages all seem to be okay, it seems to be potentially a bios issue with the
7800 x3ds, you guys know, I’ve been having nothing but crazy Ram stability issues.
I’ve updated the BIOS once since all this happened and I haven’t
touched it again because it’s been fairly solid, couple days back I had a
random blue screen, my system had been on all day no problem I had a random blue
screen, I’m like, that’s really odd…”
InfinityExpression: 18.10.2023: I agree, MSI is much more stable, the X470 is a disaster, (the B350 Prime also froze with the first and second Ryzen Gen), nonstop crashes, bsods or freezes in 2018… and it is considered the best AM4 Board…the boot procedure is extra delayed…

The last several years have proven that ASUS is anti-consumer and lack serious quality control. Enough so, that we can no longer support the brand or allow them to be one of our trusted sponsors.”
“I’ve already talked about potentially going back to Intel, not necessarily for AMD´s fault, but just I was in this position where I don’t know if a lot of what I’m experiencing
is it AMD or is it Asus fault, but it really is starting to lean that it´s Asus because
guess what I have a Tai Chi x670e motherboard from ASRock sitting on my
test bed and it has been solid as a ASRock, yes, pun intended since the moment
we used it.”
“Asus, on the other hand has become so complacent by being a money printing Factory
through their ROG branding bull stuff, that they just rake in the money, because
by the time you figure out your board is actual garbage, it’s too late and they’ve
probably voided your warranty by you doing something that you didn’t even
notice which could potentially even be updating your bios to fix a problem
where it could destroy your CPU but Asus wants to wash its hands of any sort of liability
so that’s why we are washing our hands of any sort of Asus.”
InfinityExpression: 18.10.2023: The X470 basically also destroyed my CPU, I got a new one from AMD in 2018/2019.
“Asus is is so high on their own horse that they can’t even see the ground
anymore and the thing is this is an open letter to Asus at this point we have seen bigger Brands than you fail because of the arrogance that exists at that level, so I suggest you start climbing down the ladder now so you have a softer Landing, because you’re heading down the wrong path that’s all I have to say guys you guys expect us to
represent and stand up for you guys and that’s what we’re doing until Asus has shown us that there is brand confidence that’s restored and it starts with guaranteeing anyone
that has a motherboard problem using any PSL software they’ve ever put out or
Bios on their website ever.”
“..and that’s why you are officially fired from this channel but you don’t care…”

I updated the X470 Bios probably 20 Times, still BSODs and Freezes…Disaster Asus with alleged “PEAK” Products… MSI Board nearby, smooth, clean, no bsod, everything like butter.

The USB-Board Bug is also still a thing, removing USBs that cause Freezes and Crashes of the whole system.

Nearly 2 million views. It must have been a blow to the company. Let’s hope so. With this, maybe something will change in their operating policy.

Wow this actually puts into context so many of the issues I’ve been having with my ASUS builds. Going MSI from now on. Bye ASUS.

As a former ASUS employee, none of this surprises me. I used ASUS products for 20+ years, and will never touch another one, due to the way they treated customers, and how they handled laying me off. They tried to push me into signing a form that said I would never say anything negative about ASUS, its current/future products, or current/future employees. If I do ever say anything negative, they assured me they would take legal action. Since I didn’t sign it, I received no severance pay, which goes against the whole “we’re a family” thing that they push on you from the moment you join.
Edit: For those asking, the document was called a “Non-disparagement agreement” and while it wasn’t illegal at the time, such practices have been outlawed in the US since. I would guess that they don’t use this practice any longer, but they did when I was laid off last year.

This absolutely blows my mind as I have been building computers for over a decade and out of all the companies Asus has always been the most reliable company for me. If there was any company I would push off is MSI I have hand fulls of absolutely horrible experiences with MSI… and many products coming faulty. Now I don’t know what brand I can go to when building computers for people and myself.

Thanks for this video Jay. When I built PC’s back in the 90’s Asus was a big name back then. My boss bought Gigabyte MB’s for most of our computer builds, mainly to keep the price down. I am considering buying some parts for a gaming PC for myself and was looking at Asus once again, but your video has changed my mind.

This has been a problem for a sustained time, and I am sad that content creators are now finally calling them out. Not because it took so long; I mean they can always swing back and do better, but they have not. 🙁

This is really sad because I’ve always been a huge Asus fanboy. And now that I’m a grown adult and can finally afford to put together a “dream build”, it’s depressing that after all these year, I can’t put them into it.

The ending really puts things into perspective “but you don’t care”. They really don’t. That’s why we’re are lucky to have people like you with integrity who put info like this out there.

I bought a Strix Z790-E in February. It was up and running with frequent USB issues until it bricked with a “USB over current detected” issue about 3 weeks later. After some basic customer support, it was sent off for RMA. They find a single bent pin on the CPU socket and inform me this isn’t under warranty (I didn’t really think to check before sending it.”

ASUS used to be known as ‘the best’ motherboard brand. Well, times change.

6 or 7 years ago, when I built my current PC, Asus used to be the best of the bunch.
My last three builds had Asus motherboards. I’m avoiding them like the plague now, this isn’t the only issue with them according to other videos I’ve seen.
I’m probably going Gigabyte or ASRock now I think for my next build.”

Asrock was pretty solid in 2009…and could make a Deneb Triple Core transforming into a Phenom 4 Core with just a BIOS Switch.
