„Seit Anbeginn des Lebens befindet sich ein jeder in einem gewaltigen Aufstiegsprozess, sprich ein übergreifender Akt der Verwandlung, in dem wir selbst zu Beginn maximal von unserem wahren Kern (heiliger Kern – von uns selbst) entfernt sind und dabei einen massiv begrenzten geistigen Zustand ausleben (eine selbstauferlegte Gefangenschaft). Dabei durchleben wir verschiedene Bewusstseinszustände, streifen innerhalb des Lebens Verdunkelungen über unseren Herzen und vor allem destruktive Begrenzungen ab (eingrenzende Glaubenssätze, Überzeugungen, Weltbilder und Identifikationen) mit dem übergeordneten Endziel (ob man sich dessen bewusst ist oder nicht), wieder vollkommen zum eigenen heiligen Kern, sprich zum eigenen heiligen/heilen Selbstbild (zur Quelle) zurückkehren zu können. Man könnte hierbei auch von dem Endziel der maximalen Heilung unserer eigenen inneren Welt sprechen. All 11 dimensions are explained in this video one by one. The video includes- what are dimensions, how many dimensions are there in the universe according to different theories, how we can visualize higher dimensions and what is the geometrical structure of higher dimensions.
In this Video I will also explain why we are not able to perceive higher dimensions although we might be living in higher dimensions unknowingly and what supernatural powers a being of higher dimensions would possess. So most of your questions related to dimensions will be answered in this video.
What we mean by dimensions?
Dimension of a point is defined as the minimum number of coordinates that are needed to specify that point in it.
How many dimensions are there in the universe?
According to classical physics there are 3 dimensions of space; length, breadth and height and one dimension is of time. String theory requires 10 dimensions but as per M theory total no. of dimensions are 11. In Bosonic string theory spacetime is 26 dimensional.
Why we are not able to perceive higher dimensions?
Actually We might be living in higher dimensions without being aware of it. But because of the limitations of our brain and senses we may not be able to perceive them.
According to some researches extra dimensions may be „curled up“ at extremely small scales. This scale is so small that we can not see them with our experiments based on current technologies.
11 Dimensions Explained:-
0th dimension-
There is no length, no breadth and no height of an object in the zeroth dimension. Example of zeroth dimension is a point.
1st dimension
An object in first dimension has only one dimension i.e. length. A straight line is an example of first dimensional object. We can get straight line by joining two points.
2nd Dimension (2D)
Second dimensional objects also known as two dimensional or 2D objects are flat shapes. Some common examples of two dimensional shapes are squares and triangles.
3rd dimension (3D)
On adding one more dimension to 2 dimensional objects we enter into the world of three dimensions. This third dimension is of height. Therefore to represent three dimensional or 3D objects we need three coordinates length, breadth and height. Three dimensional objects are solid objects and therefore have non zero volume.
4th dimension
Time is considered the fourth dimension. A four Dimensional being can move freely in time dimension. It would have full control over time. He would be able to move in any desired direction in time; past or future.
But if we consider the fourth dimension from the geometrical point of view then hypercube is a 4 dimensional object. It is also called a tesseract. The relationship between a hypercube and a cube is same as that of cube and square. So in simple terms a hypercube or tesseract is four dimensional analog of the cube.
5th dimension
A person living in 5th dimension can control time in different ways. A fifth dimensional being can move either in past or future as per his wish. He would have all the powers that are possessed by a fourth dimensional being. But he would also be able to be present at different locations at the same time. It would also be possible for him to do many jobs and have different hobbies simultaneously.
6th dimension (Sixth Dimension)
A six dimensional being has all the powers that a person living in 5th dimension has along with some extra capabilities. But one limitation of the sixth dimension is that all the parallel universes must have the same beginning (initial conditions) that is the Big Bang.
7th dimension (Seventh Dimension)
Seventh dimension can have infinite number of universes. A seventh dimensional being can have infinite forms of itself and can move from one universe to any other universe. The 7th dimensional universes may have originated from different start conditions.
8th dimension (Eighth Dimension)
The eighth dimension has a plane of all the possible presents, pasts and futures for all the infinite number of parallel universes and all these infinite universes extend up to infinity.
9th dimension (Ninth Dimension)
Infinite number of universes exist in the ninth dimension. It is possible for the universes in the ninth dimension to have their own laws of Physics and separate conditions and probabilities of their origin.
10th dimension (Tenth dimension)
The 10th dimensional being would have infinite powers. He would be able to do the things that are beyond your imagination. He would be able to control even the spacetime and everything present in all the infinite number of universes.
11th dimension (Eleventh dimension)
Many unanswered questions were arised when the superstring theory was introduced. Therefore to answer these questions, eleventh dimension was proposed by the researchers.
According to superstring theory, everything in the universe is made up of one dimensional and infinitely small vibrating loops called strings.“

@mrscott01 yes brucelee’s death has many conspiracy theories behind it.. So saying this is the definite cause will turn a lot of heads and he needs to give more explanations. So he said it as a probable cause and not the definitive cause…

@Krishna sadhguru did not say it is a probable cause. He said if he hadn’t died the way he did, then sometime later it would have been due to manipura chakra.
What I don’t get is the need of even thinking of theories for his death. It was clearly stated cerebral edema (swelling of brain). He removed his sweat glands as it was taken as vile in cinema when actors had sweat circles down their armpits. As a result his brain was unable to remove excess heat and he died from that.

die Sonne und der Mond. Und so wie man schläft, wenn man nur ganz hingegeben ist dem inneren Leibesprozess in der Nacht und keine Ahnung hat von dem, was ringsherum in der äußeren körperlichen Welt vorhanden ist, so schläft man auch, wenn man nur der äußeren Sinneswelt hingegeben ist und der Verstandeswelt und den Verstandesgesetzen, die in der äußeren Sinneswelt walten, und keine Ahnung hat von dem, was um einen herum ist als
geistige Welt.
Es ist merkwürdig, dass gerade in den letzten Jahrhunderten – und am ärgsten um die Wende des 19. zum 20. Jahrhundert – die Menschheit auf ihren geistigen Fortschritt, auf ihre wissenschaftlichen Errungenschaften so sehr pochte und dass im Grunde genommen niemals das unbewusste, instinktive Leben so ausgebreitet war wie in dieser Zeit, dass immer mehr und mehr gegen die Gegenwart herauf das instinktiv Unbewusste die Menschen ergriffen hat. Das Nicht-Sehen dessen, was geistig um uns herum ist, das Nicht-Rechnen mit diesem Geistigen, das ist ja im letzten Grunde die Ursache dieses furchtbaren Weltenkampfes. Und man kann nicht sagen, dass die Menschheit durch die Jahre, die sich, wie ich angedeutet habe, wie Jahrhunderte verlängern für den, der sie wachend durchlebt, man kann nicht sagen, dass die Menschheit schon hinreichend viel gelernt hat von dem, was in so furchtbarer Weise sich abgespielt hat. Man könnte leider sogar das Gegenteil davon sagen.
Was ist denn das eigentlich Charakteristische, das einem jetzt täglich, stündlich auffallen kann, wenn man verfolgt, was heute Menschen denken – besser gesagt, vorgeben zu denken, vorgeben zu wollen -, was ist denn das eigentlich Charakteristische? Das eigentlich Charakteristische ist, dass im Grunde genommen über die Welt hin niemand weiß, was er will, dass niemand darauf kommt, dass dasjenige, was man berechtigterweise wollen
könnte – gleichgültig, wie es sich in den einzelnen Köpfen der einzelnen Völker ausmalt -, viel besser erreicht würde, wenn man die furchtbaren, blutigen Ereignisse wegließe, dass diese furchtbaren, blutigen Ereignisse sich abspielen und dass sie eigentlich unnötig
sind, unnötig sind zu dem, was gewollt wird.
Allerdings, es walten in diesen Ereignissen geheimnisvolle Zusammenhänge. Aber wenn Sie manches nehmen, was, allerdings auch nur andeutungsweise, im Laufe der Jahre gerade in unseren geisteswissenschaftlichen Vorträgen gesagt worden ist, so werden Sie doch finden,
dass auch in Bezug auf dasjenige, das sich als Allerbedeutungsvollstes hereingestellt hat in die Ereignisse der letzten Jahre, manches recht klar angedeutet worden ist. Wenn Sie nur nehmen, was auch innerhalb dieser Räume, namentlich in den letzten Jahren, entwickelt
worden ist über den Charakter des russischen Volkes und über den Gegensatz dieses russischen Volkes zu den west- und mitteleuropäischen Völkern, dann werden Sie daraufkommen, dass Sie nichts anderes brauchen, als was hier gesagt worden ist, zum
Verständnisse desjenigen Ereignisses, das scheinbar so stürmisch in der letzten Zeit eingeschlagen hat, zum Verständnisse dessen, was man gewöhnlich die Russische Revolution jetzt nennt, dieses Ereignisses, das hereingebrochen ist wie eine Vergeltung, aber eine
innerlich durchaus absolut verständliche karmische Vergeltung, wobei man dieses Wort als Terminus technicus und gar nicht im moralischen Sinne zu nehmen hat. Es wird nicht nur die russische, es wird die europäische, wird die Menschheit der ganzen Welt lange, lange nachzudenken haben über die Ereignisse, die sich im Osten Europas viel geheimnisvoller jetzt abspielen, als man eigentlich denkt. Denn was Jahrhunderte lang sich
vorbereitet hat, das ist da an die Oberfläche getreten. Und das Neue, das sich gestalten will, es zeigt heute noch ein ganz anderes Gesicht als dasjenige, das sich entwickeln will, das sich herausgestalten will. Spätere Geschlechter werden noch die Möglichkeit
haben, den Unterschied zwischen Maja und Wirklichkeit anschaulich zu machen an dem, was sich in den nächsten Jahrzehnten im Osten von Europa gestalten wird. Denn die gegenwärtigen Geschlechter nehmen die Maja eben nicht als Maja hin, sondern als eine
Wirklichkeit. Sie nehmen das, was jetzt geschieht, hin als etwas, was schon dasjenige ist, was es werden will. Das ist nicht so. Da will etwas ganz anderes an die Oberfläche. Und schlecht sind die Westvölker gerüstet zu verstehen, was da an die Oberfläche will.
Warum sind sie so schlecht gerüstet? So sonderbar dies aussieht für den Menschen, nicht
für Sie, aber für den Normalmenschen der Gegenwart – Sie sind ja alle dadurch, dass Sie zur Anthroposophie gehören, nicht Normalmenschen der Gegenwart -, so sonderbar das für den Normalmenschen aussieht, mehr, unendlich viel mehr als irgendeine andere Zeit erfordert
diese gegenwärtige Zeit von den Menschen gerade dasjenige, was diese Menschen am allerwenigsten haben wollen: geisteswissenschaftliches Verständnis. So sonderbar es für den Normalmenschen der Gegenwart eben klingt: Ordnung wird aus dem Chaos der Gegenwart nicht, bevor eine genügend große Anzahl von Menschen sich bequemen wird, die geisteswissenschaftlichen Wahrheiten anzuerkennen. Das wird das weltgeschichtliche Karma sein.
Lassen Sie die Menschen reden, die da glauben, wir haben jetzt einen Krieg, wie frühere Kriege waren, und wir werden nächstens Frieden schließen, wie frühere Frieden geschlossen worden sind; lassen Sie das die Menschen glauben. Das sind die Menschen, die die Maja
lieben, das sind die Menschen, die die Wahrheit nicht von der Täuschung unterscheiden. Lassen Sie diese Menschen selbst einen Scheinfrieden vielleicht irgendwie schließen:
Ordnung wird aus diesem Chaos, das jetzt die Welt durchzieht, nur dann, wenn die Morgenröte einer geisteswissenschaftlichen Auffassung die Menschen ergreift. Und wenn Sie etwa in Ihrem Herzen empfinden sollten: Dann wird lange nicht Ordnung werden, dann wird es noch lange dauern – weil Sie vielleicht des Glaubens sind, die Menschen werden sich lange nicht bequemen, eine geisteswissenschaftliche Morgenröte heraufkommen zu lassen -, dann
werden Sie Recht haben. Dann glauben Sie aber nur auch, dass lange keine Ordnung werden wird aus diesem Chaos heraus, denn sie wird nicht früher werden, als bis eine geisteswissenschaftliche Auffassung die menschlichen Herzen durchdringt. Alles andere wird Schein sein, alles andere wird scheinbare Ruhe sein, unter der immer neue und neue Feuerflammen sich entzünden werden, denn Ordnung wird aus diesem Chaos erst entstehen,
wenn man begreifen wird, woraus dieses Chaos entstanden ist.
Es ist entstanden aus ungeistiger Erfassung der Wirklichkeit – ja, aus ungeistiger Erfassung der Wirklichkeit. Die geistige Welt ignoriert man nicht ungestraft. Man kann glauben, dass man die geistige Welt ungestraft ignorieren kann, man kann glauben, dass man sich in der Welt Begriffen, Vorstellungen hingeben kann, die bloß aus der Sinneswelt entnommen sind, man kann das glauben, und das ist ja der allgemeine Glaube der heutigen
Menschheit. Aber wahr ist es nicht. Nein! Der irrigste Glaube, den jemals die Menschheit hat hegen können, das ist der – wenn ich mich trivial ausdrücken darf -, dass die Geister es sich gefallen lassen, ignoriert zu werden. Fassen Sie es meinetwillen auf als einen
Egoismus, als eine Selbstsucht der Geister, aber in der geistigen Welt gilt eine andere Terminologie als hier in der sinnlich-physischen Welt. Also fassen Sie es meinetwillen auf als einen Egoismus der Geister, aber die Geister rächen sich, wenn sie ignoriert werden hier. Es ist ein Gesetz, es ist eine eherne Notwendigkeit: Die Geister rächen sich. Und unter den mancherlei Charakteristiken, die man geben kann für die Gegenwart, ist auch
diese richtig, dass man sagen kann: Die Rache der Geister dafür, dass man sie so lange ignoriert hat, das ist das gegenwärtige Menschheitschaos.
Erinnern Sie sich, wie oft ich hier und an andern Orten gesagt habe: Es ist ein geheimnisvoller Zusammenhang zwischen dem, was menschliches Bewusstsein ist, und den zerstörerischen Kräften des Weltenalls, gerade den Untergangskräften des Weltenalls. Ja, dieser geheimnisvolle Zusammenhang zwischen den zerstörerischen Kräften des Weltenalls und dem Bewusstsein, der besteht; er besteht so, dass das eine als Ersatz für das andere auf
der einen Seite dienen kann oder auf der andern Seite dienen muss in der folgenden Art.
Nehmen wir einmal an, ein Zeitalter wäre dagewesen, sagen wir in den letzten zwanzig oder dreißig Jahren des 19. Jahrhunderts, in dem die Menschheit so nach Geistigem gestrebt hätte, wie sie in den letzten zwei bis drei Jahrzehnten des 19. Jahrhunderts nur nach materiellem Wissen und nach materiellen Taten gestrebt hat. Nehmen wir an, am Ende dieses 19. Jahrhunderts hätten die Menschen nach spirituellem Erleben, nach spirituellem Wissen, nach spirituellen Taten gestrebt. Was wäre das gewesen? Was wäre es gewesen, wenn die Menschen gesucht hätten, die geistige Welt zu erkennen und aus der geistigen Welt heraus der physischen Welt einen Charakter, eine Grundlage zu geben, statt dass in den letzten Jahrzehnten des 19. Jahrhunderts die Menschen nur instinktiv immer mehr und mehr nach demjenigen Wissen gejagt haben, welches zuletzt in der Ausgestaltung der Mordwerkzeuge seine größten Triumphe feierte und welches in der menschlichen Bereicherung mit rein materiellen Gütern aufging? Was wäre geschehen, wenn die Menschheit gestrebt hätte, spirituelles Wissen, spirituelle Impulse für das soziale Wirken zu gewinnen? Es wäre eine Abschlagszahlung gewesen für zerstörerische Kräfte! Die Menschen wären wacher gewesen, statt dass sie die letzten Jahrzehnte des 19. Jahrhunderts verschlafen haben. Die Menschen wären wacher gewesen, und die ersten Jahrzehnte des 20. Jahrhunderts hätten nicht die Zerstörung zu bringen brauchen, wenn das Bewusstsein stärker gewesen wäre. Das spirituelle Bewusstsein muss eben stärker sein als das rein sinnlich-materielle Bewusstsein. Wäre das
spirituelle Bewusstsein stärker gewesen in den letzten Jahrzehnten des 19. Jahrhunderts, so hätten nicht die zerstörerischen Kräfte einzugreifen brauchen in den ersten Jahrzehnten des 20. Jahrhunderts.

Viele sind durch die Pforte des Todes gegangen, ohne auch nur eine Ahnung zu bekommen von Begriffen, von Ideen, die spirituelle Impulse andeuten. Wäre hier auf der Erde, bevor diese Seelen durch die Pforte des Todes gegangen sind, für sie die Möglichkeit gewesen, Spirituelles in ihre Vorstellungen, in ihre Begriffe aufzunehmen, sie hätten das mit durch die Pforte des Todes getragen. Das wäre ihnen ein Gut gewesen, das sie brauchen nach dem Tode. Sie haben es nicht haben können.

Realitäten kennenlernen, dann muss man sich eine Empfindung für dasjenige verschaffen, was in den ägyptischen Mysterien die eherne Notwendigkeit genannt worden ist. So furchtbar es ist, so sehr notwendig war es, dass Zerstörung Platz griff, da sich die durch die Pforte des Todes Gegangenen sehnten nach zerstörerischen Kräften, in denen sie leben können, nachdem sie hier die Abschlagszahlung durch spirituelle Impulse nicht haben erhalten können.
Es wird nicht früher Ordnung aus dem Chaos, bevor die Menschheit sich entschließt, solch ernste Wahrheiten wirklich durch ihre Seele ziehen zu lassen und auch solch ernste Wahrheiten in die Ideen einfließen zu lassen, die heute politisch durch die Welt ziehen.
Und wenn diese Wahrheiten pessimistisch klingen und Sie sich denken: Wie weit ist die Menschheit noch weg von all dem, was jetzt als gefordert bedeutet worden ist -, dann haben Sie recht. Aber lassen Sie aus diesem Ihrem berechtigten Pessimismus die innere Aufforderung folgen, die wache Aufforderung, da, wo Sie können, an jeglicher Stelle des Lebens, an die Sie gestellt sind, den Versuch zu machen, Seelen zu erwecken nach der
Richtung, nach der die Geisteswissenschaft ihre Impulse senden kann. Man kann es freilich heute noch nicht viel, aber man muss wirklich das ehrliche, aufrichtige Bestreben haben, in der Art, wie es eben der eine oder der andere verstehen kann, aufmerksam zu machen auf dieses Konkrete, das darin besteht, dass die neuere Zeit Sehnsuchten in den Toten hervorgerufen hat, denen jetzt entgegengekommen wird mit dem, was wir Lebenden hier auf dem physischen Plan mit Schaudern erfahren. While we take curses as something scary and would all want to stay away from it. And yes, they are in fact scary many times and did give the individuals who got one a lot of trouble. However, there are many curses that did do good, eventually. Hence, in this case, this curse has totally changed the course of the history of Hindu scriptures. Unarguably, one of the most important curses in the Hindu Puranas was that given by Bhrigu to Lord Vishnu. Here is the story of Bhrigu cursing Lord Vishnu and how it changed the course of ancient Hindu history.
Matsya Purana states, the story of the war between Devatas (Demi-Gods) and Asuras (Demons). The story mainly consists of Maharishi Bhrigu and Kavyamata who were the parents of Shukracharya. Shukracharya was the great sage who was the Guru of Asuras and gained the mantra of invincibility, ‘Mrita Sanjivani’. Lord Indra was the leader of Devas and elected Brihaspati as the head priest of Devas. Although, Sukracharya being more capable, it was Indra’s favoritism towards Bhriaspati due to which he chooses Brihaspati as the chief priest. Therefore, Sukracharya started favoring the Asuras more as it was a way to take revenge for his partiality.
During that time it was very difficult for the demons to defeat the demigods in battles. Having lost several times, the Guru of the demons, Shukracharya decided to approach Lord Shiva for help to defeat Devatas. He also requested Lord Shiva for Mrita Sanjivani, using which Shiva could bring back the dead. Therefore, Sukracharya started to meditate and pray to Lord Shiva, to grant him Mrita-Sanjeevani Stotram, a mantra that would make the Asuras invincible.
Furthermore, Shukracharya’s triumph, that is if he was granted the mantra of invincibility, would have made it difficult for Devas to defeat the Asuras. Meanwhile, Sukracharya asked the Asuras to take refuge at the ashram of his father, who was Maharishi Bhrigu. The Devtas and Indra used this opportunity to attack unarmed Asuras. In the absence of the sage, the Asuras fled to Bhrigu’s wife who was Kavyamata, for shelter.
Kavyamata used her Yogic powers to immobilize Indra and protect the asuras. Unnerved by the immobilization of Indra, the Devas decided to take refuge at the feet of Lord Vishnu. Therefore, Vishnu decided to enter the body of Indra and to save the Devas. Thus, Kavyamata was enraged by this and warned to burn them down to ashes if they did not retreat. However, Indra instigated to annihilate Bhrigu’s wife and as a consequence, Vishnu used the Sudarshana Chakra. Hence, to save Indra and the Devtas, Lord Vishnu used his Sudarshana Chakra which served her head.
Sage Bhrigu was devastated hearing what had happened. Bhrigu seeing his wife’s condition, got furious because Lord Vishnu broke his Dharma by killing a woman. Therefore, Maharishi Bhrigu cursed Lord Vishnu to be born on Earth many times and suffer the pain of birth and death all those several times. Due to this legendary curse, Vishnu had to take countless avatars on Earth and endure all the worldly pain as a price. Although Bhrigu later revived his wife by sprinkling holy water from his Kamandalu, he was so deeply infuriated and full of vengeance, he decided not to spare Lord Vishnu.

The curse of Bhrigu that Lord Vishnu endured has a huge significance today. Bhrigu’s curse demanded Lord Vishnu be born on Earth in several avatars. The avatars included some of the greatest Gods to ever walk on Earth as humans such as Lord Rama and Lord Krishna.
Without Rama, there would have been no Ramayana and without Lord Krishna, there would have been no Mahabharata and hence, no Bhagavad Gita. Along with them, even the other Avatars of Vishnu such as Narshima, Parasurama, and arguably Balaram or Buddha and all the other avatars who have had undeniable contributions to shape the entire history of our civilization and scriptures. The curse also made Lord Vishnu feel human emotions such as love, hatred, betrayal, and pain of separation.

He was forced by his duties towards his kingdom to take the throne and marry and have a kid.
Even his wife was a very kind and beautiful soul who let her husband leave so he can achieve his goals because she knew what he desired from the very beginning of their relationship.
He never thought of his relationships to be a burden nor did he just abandon them. They were well taken care for.

Mariamne Magdal-eder was knowingly, or to be generous, perhaps unknowingly, taken from Gnostic teaching, as well as
the entire godman tradition of the dying and rising savior, and used by the early Church Fathers to suit their own
purposes—purposes which very much included the suppression of women. For countless years before the birth of
Christianity and for many years after, many women knew power in the competing mystery teachings that everywhere
surrounded the new and jealous „Fathers“ in their new and jealous church: Pythagoreans, Epicureans, Cynics,
Therapeauts, and most especially, Gnostics held women in equal regard.
But that power waned with the unceasing efforts of the new and very masculine Church as it rose to pre-eminence
over the hearts and minds of Western civilization. And with it waned the power and truth of the Magdalene.
The „story“ of the Magdalene is ancient. It was told by the early Gnostics, and before them the Egyptians, and
before them the Sumerians協or surely this story goes back to the dawn of human self-awareness. Like all great
stories, it asks eternal questions which are the very same questions we ask today. „Who are we?“ „Why are we here?“
„Where is here?“ „Why“ is here?“ And: „What happens to us when we die?“ These must have been the very first
questions asked by the very first humans gazing up at the ancient stars.
Every society on earth from the beginning to now has tried to answer these questions, and almost every society on
earth has come up with answers that then become cemented in a formal tradition.
The early Gnostics answered them in this way: before the Beginning of the World… The Egyptians called it the
„dazzling darkness“ or Absolute Mystery. Gnostics called it „All That Is.“ It was pure unmanifest Consciousness—and
it was aware.
But aware of what? What would a conscious No Thing which is No Where be conscious of? Plato said the first
principle (stemming from All That Is) is intellect whose only function can be to think, and the only possible
object of thought must be itself.
At some point, All That Is contemplated itself into a First Idea, named by some: „Logos.“ The First Idea is that it
knew itself by becoming both that which is known and that which knows, witness and experience. It became the One
Soul of the Universe that is conscious through all beings. And from this sprang the Many卪eaning the World and all
it contains. (Physicists still call this The Big Bang, because they are telling the same ancient story in their own
rationalist way.)
The evolving cosmology of preChristian Gnosticism taught that from All That Is (having neither gender nor being),
emanated pairs of Aeons, or paired lesser beings which are divine powers or natures emanating from Source to play
various roles in the operation of the universe. Together these Aeons made up the Pleroma, or „fullness of
Consciousness.“ The lowest and the last of these pairs in the hierarchy was Sophia, which is Greek for „Wisdom,“
and Christ, which is Greek for „Savior.“

Those who wrote the first gospels, both canonical and Gnostic, gave the name Yeshu (Jesus in Greek) to the Christ
Aeon and the name Mary Magdalene, or Mariamne Magdal-eder, to the Sophia Aeon.
Sophia was the original female principal, the Goddess. She came first and she came alone. And so soon as She
discovered Herself to be separated from Source, Sophia grew fearful and full of anguish. She felt she’d been
exiled. She was certain She was lost in this lower, lesser, place…a „copy“ of Pleroma. Plato thought this copy
benign, but the Gnostics thought it hellish. Wandering through the world of matter created by her own dreadful fear
and confusion, Sophia was subject to all the pain and horror the world of matter can and does supply…and all
those she met treated her shamefully—most especially males. She became in both meanings of the term, a „fallen
woman.“
Sophia was exiled for years beyond counting and during those years she endured tribulation after tribulation,
always longing to return to All That Is. Eventually, She grew so sorrowful that All That Is took pity on Her and
sent out her „other half,“ her Platonic Double, Her paired Aeon, so that she might once again „see the light.“ As
her paired Aeon and savior, Christ rescued her from the physical world. He gathered Her up into Gnosis (meaning
knowledge of the divine) so that she might „remember herself“ and return to her home in the „Pleroma.“

Sophia’s story is a tale of our mortal selves seemingly doomed to wander alone and lost through the world of
matter. We don’t know where we’re going. We don’t know why we’re here. We don’t even know who we really are. We are
frightened. We feel abandoned. We push ourselves even further into matter to escape the terrible feeling that we
have lost our Home. We do whatever we can to distract ourselves from this fundamental uncertainty.
But Sophia, who is Mary Magdalene, is the Goddess who not only created matter, she lived in it to show us we are
not alone in our suffering. And Christ, Her partner and equal, is Gnosis, who comes if we call. He comes so that we
know we are much more than we think we are, that we are, in fact, eternal and loved and filled with Spirit, and
that we can all go Home again.
It’s a beautiful story, a profound story—and it is completely misunderstood by those who „borrowed“ it from the
Gnostic teaching.
All Pagan godmen have a female Consort who resurrects Him from the grave. Osiris by Isis. Attis by Cybele. Tammuz
by Ishtar. Christ by Mary Magdalene. There is always a female divinity mourning a slain god and seeking his body
for anointing卆nd this part of the story is as old as human time. It’s very much a part of the myth of the Goddess
and speaks of the true worth of the feminine and her part in the dance of reality.
The Christians hid the Consort. They could not lose Her entirely because they themselves did not understand the
story they were trying to tell. But they degraded Her. They made her into a penitent, serving only to show us how
forgiving Jesus was. They took away Her divinity as they’ve tried to take it from us. By so doing, they have
unbalanced the entire world…because ideas about reality move the entire world.
To Gnostics, none of this is „true“ as in literally factual. Sophia’s story is a parable for the plight of the lost
human soul seeking Gnosis—or God consciousness. Sophia is the soul. Christ is that which enlightens the soul.
Mary Magdalene is the „Woman Who Knew the All.“ She is Sophia, symbolic of our quest for Christ / The Kingdom of
God / Gnosis / Enlightenment / HOME.

There are many examples of how the knowledge of the Ancients can be lost.
Throughout history invasion and conquest have often occasioned the destruction of ancestral and indigenous knowledge. Egypt suffered a succession of invasions and annexations by the Persians, the Greeks and then the Romans, as the monotheistic religions became anchored to the powers of empire in the east and west, so it was that indigenous narratives and wisdom traditions became suppressed. The influence of writers like Socrates and Plato important writers whose own understanding had plumbed the sources of ancient Egypt was excised from the mainstream of Christianity. Church Fathers who had drawn on their wisdom found themselves sidelined and excommunicated. The hermetic texts, though
popular for a long time among early Christians, became regarded as subversive and dangerous, yet their influence continued to inform the thinking of mystics and scholars down the ages, writing in the fourth century BCE the Greek philosopher Plato openly stated that while many of his conclusions were reached purely by applying logic to things we can all observe, he had reached other significant conclusions, things he believed, but could not prove. The source of that information Plato said was ancestral memory, specifically the priestly knowledge of ancient Egypt, like Hermes in the dialogue with Asclepius, Plato was eager to keep what remained of ancient Egyptian wisdom alive. It’s in that context that Plato reports that he is concluded that there are other entities occupying our Universe, being similar to ourselves who reside on what he describes as islands in the sky and he said that these beings live longer than we do, they’re more highly intelligent than we are and their understanding of the universe and what we would call outer space is far more advanced than our own and though we said he couldn’t prove it Plato wanted to mark that knowledge on the wall, the notion of a more populated universe or of higher beings were ideas that Plato did not want to see forgotten. In the
1500s from Naples Italy another student of the hermetic texts emerged in the Dominican friar: Giordano Bruno. Bruno study of the hermetic texts
led him to some far-reaching conclusions as a Dominican friar Giordano Bruno was a devoted scholar and from his study of the hermetic texts: Bruno concluded just as Plato had done 2,000 years before that we are not alone in the universe that there are other entities populating the cosmos and the other planets in our Galaxy may be home to extraterrestrial civilizations. Well, unfortunately he fell foul of the Roman Catholic Church and in 1600 the Inquisition decided to send the world a signal that such conclusions had no place in Catholic Christianity and so they executed this poor Dominican friar Giordano Bruno and they made a public
show of it by burning him to death, in a public square, that’s a very forceful way of ensuring that ancient memory gets forgotten.
In the dialogue with Asclepius the character of Hermes laments the
forgetting of Egypt’s deities, these higher beings depicted in human-like and hybrid forms, by contrast in the Bible, the successive leaders Moses and Joshua instructed the people to forget the other higher beings, the Elohim, the powerful ones. In the Bible there’s a very deliberate kind of forgetting that we see written into the narrative, the Ten Commandments, famously begins with a command to serve no other Elohim, no other powerful ones, serve only Yahweh and then follows an instruction not to depict anything they’ve seen on earth or in the heavens, so don’t serve them, don’t bow down to them, don’t even depict them the memory of these other entities has to be excised absolutely and then in the Book of Joshua we’re told that Joshua who’s the successor to Moses calls upon the Hebrew people to never again serve the powerful ones of Abraham and Sarah’s ancestral culture and that’s the culture of the Sumerians. do not serve the powerful ones of your Sumerian heritage or the powerful ones of Egypt. Again there’s this forgetting being enforced, the memory of higher beings what the Sumerians indicated as sky people had to be written out of the story and similarly the Egyptian memory of higher beings had to be forgotten and that’s why Theodosius, seeing himself as a Christian Emperor in the vein of a Moses or a Joshua, illegalized these memories and banned the narratives that kept them alive. When Plato referred to the knowledge of higher beings, including these others who live on islands in the
sky, with all their advanced knowledge of the cosmos it’s interesting to me that he appeals on the one hand to information gathered through altered
states of consciousness and on the other to the lost cannon of ancient Egyptian memory, by citing that knowledge he makes it clear that the story of a more populous universe is one that Plato wanted remembered, he did not want that knowledge to remain buried and forgotten. The character Hermes laments the dying of a culture, he says darkness will be preferred to light and death will be thought more profitable than life, no one will raise their eyes to the heavens, good people, spiritual people, seekers of truth, will be considered insane. The vulgar and careless will be considered wise, the madman will be thought a strong man and the wicked held up as good, only those who bring evil messages will remain, they will mingle with humans and drive them into all manner of recklessness and crime into Wars an theft and frauds and all things hostile to the bodies and souls of human beings. If you think of the wars being prosecuted by the world’s powers even as we speak or think of government corruption the gravy trains the big bank bailouts, the theft and hoarding of wealth from the 99% by the 1% or consider the brutalization of our politics and the polarization and dumbing down that we’re seeing right now of public conversation, if you think about our veneration of wealth or how we gaze in adoration at the 1% and at the same time lower all our compassion towards the poor to refugees to anyone more needy or more desperate than ourselves can any of us look at these things in our world right now and not see that what Hermes forewarned is happening before our eyes.“
